A common problem / a joined result
We can't tell which marketing works
Follow a recorded campaign visit through to a deal and payment.
Talk through the sources behind your question.
Sound familiar?
A campaign brings clicks and forms, but you cannot see which of those people became paying customers. The next budget decision feels like a guess.
The pieces live apart.
The website holds the visit. The CRM holds the sales conversation. Billing holds the payment. Channel reports cannot follow that path unless the records and result definition are joined.

The campaign visit

Each source has a piece. The join gives the pieces a shared meaning.
One rule. A useful result.
Example rule / events → tag
Website: campaign enquiry sent
CRM: consultation completed
Billing: payment received
In this order, within 60 days, on the same confirmed customer.
Resulting tag
Campaign enquiry became a paid client
Illustrative rule. Sources, match keys and timing are agreed in the build.
A recorded path shows what happened. It does not prove that the campaign caused the sale.
What you get
- A result defined beyond clicks and forms.
- The recorded steps from enquiry to payment.
- Outcome tags for your chosen reporting or ads tools.
Systems usually joined: Website, CRM, Billing. The team checks the records, match keys and destination with you.
A question that crosses teams.
Marketing teams and sales leaders who need to connect campaign activity to paid work.
Good questions. Clear answers.
Will this prove which campaign caused a sale?
No. Joining recorded events shows an observed path. Attribution models assign credit, and causal claims need other evidence. Keep those questions separate.
Can we include calls and offline deals?
Yes, where those events are recorded and can be linked with enough evidence. The team checks your call, CRM and payment sources before agreeing the rule.
Can we keep our attribution tool?
Yes. It can still compare credit models. DataGlue can supply a better defined conversion and its linked evidence through the connection agreed in the build.
