DataGlue

Glossary / in plain English

Tag / segment

A tag is a label on a record, and a segment is a group of records that share a rule or label.

01 / Why it matters

What this helps you understand.

A label such as 'ready for a call' is useful when everyone knows what earned it. A vague label hides the evidence and can send the wrong message.

02 / A small example

The steps. Then the tag.

Example rule / events → tag

  1. Website: pricing viewed

  2. Bookings: demo booked

In this order, within 7 days, on the same confirmed contact.

03 / In DataGlue

How we use it.

DataGlue builds tags from series of events. Those tags can go to a CRM, ads platform, BI dashboard, email tool or your chosen LLM through the route agreed in the build.
