DataGlue
Mixpanel integration

Mixpanel, joined, in and out.

DataGlue marries Mixpanel data with your other systems and sends outcomes back. Every number shows its formula and its records.

Mixpanel: A product analytics tool for events, funnels and retention.

HOW IT CONNECTS

What moves between Mixpanel and DataGlue. Product events come in. Outcome properties can go out.

  • IN + OUT

    Your warehouse or database

INMixpanel data lands in your warehouse or database through a sync you run, or one set up in the build. DataGlue reads only the columns a decision needs, with the source on every fact.

OUTWhere the build sets it up, DataGlue writes outcomes and evidence into your warehouse, and Mixpanel picks them up there.

  • IN + OUT

    REST API

INMixpanel records are sent to our REST API with a scoped key, as events and linked ids on the same person. The calls are set up in the build.

OUTPeople, sessions, events and conversions are read from our REST API with a scoped key and written into Mixpanel.

  • IN + OUT

    File export

INExport a CSV from Mixpanel and import it. Each row keeps its own id, so a re-upload updates the same people and adds no duplicates. Recurring drops are agreed in the build.

OUTSessions, events, identity links and outcome tables export as files on request, ready to load into Mixpanel.

There is no native Mixpanel connector today; the routes above are how it joins. Connections are agreed in the build. We check the source data, consent and identifiers before promising a linked journey. Mixpanel is a trademark of its owner; this page implies no partnership or endorsement.

WHAT DATAGLUE DOES WITH IT

Describe the outcome. DataGlue works it out and shows you the formula.

  1. 01

Describe the outcome you want in plain words, such as "Retention by first campaign".

  2. 02

DataGlue works it out from the definitions of your data sources, Mixpanel included, and shows the formula in concise English.

  3. 03

Send it on: to reports, BI tools, any destination, or the AI tools your team already uses.

  • EXAMPLE OUTCOME 01

    Retention by first campaign

    THE FORMULA

Week four retention, split by the campaign that brought each user in.

  • EXAMPLE OUTCOME 02

    Trial to paid by journey

    THE FORMULA

Trials that converted, divided by all trials, by the pages read before signup.
