DataGlue
ClickHouse integration

ClickHouse, joined, in and out.

DataGlue marries ClickHouse data with your other systems and sends outcomes back. Every number shows its formula and its records.

ClickHouse: An open-source column-oriented database for fast analytics over large event tables.

HOW IT CONNECTS

What moves between ClickHouse and DataGlue. Event and fact tables come in. Outcomes and evidence streams can go out.

  • IN + OUT

    Your warehouse or database

Today our database connection speaks Postgres. Tables in ClickHouse reach DataGlue through a sync you run into Postgres, or through our REST API, with the route mapped in the build. Outcomes and evidence streams land in Postgres first, and the same sync copies them into ClickHouse for the rest of your stack.

  • IN + OUT

    REST API

INClickHouse records are sent to our REST API with a scoped key, as events and linked ids on the same person. The calls are set up in the build.

OUTPeople, sessions, events and conversions are read from our REST API with a scoped key and written into ClickHouse.

  • IN + OUT

    File export

INExport a CSV from ClickHouse and import it. Each row keeps its own id, so a re-upload updates the same people and adds no duplicates. Recurring drops are agreed in the build.

OUTSessions, events, identity links and outcome tables export as files on request, ready to load into ClickHouse.

There is no native ClickHouse connector today; the routes above are how it joins. Connections are agreed in the build. We check the source data, consent and identifiers before promising a linked journey. ClickHouse is a trademark of its owner; this page implies no partnership or endorsement.

WHAT DATAGLUE DOES WITH IT

Describe the outcome. DataGlue works it out and shows you the formula.

  1. 01

Describe the outcome you want in plain words, such as "Product events on the journey".

  2. 02

DataGlue works it out from the definitions of your data sources, ClickHouse included, and shows the formula in concise English.

  3. 03

Send it on: to reports, BI tools, any destination, or the AI tools your team already uses.

  • EXAMPLE OUTCOME 01

    Product events on the journey

    THE FORMULA

High-volume product events, rolled up per person per day, joined to marketing touches.

  • EXAMPLE OUTCOME 02

    Outcome tables at scale

    THE FORMULA

Outcome rows copied into ClickHouse for the dashboards your team already runs there.
