DataGlue
AWS IoT Core integration

AWS IoT Core, joined to everything else.

DataGlue marries AWS IoT Core data with your other systems in one living model. Every number shows its formula and its records.

AWS IoT Core: AWS's managed service for connecting devices and routing their messages.

HOW IT CONNECTS

What comes in from AWS IoT Core. Device messages, readings and state changes come in with device ids and timestamps.

  • IN

    Webhook

Configure an AWS IoT rule's HTTPS action in your own account to post selected messages to a DataGlue inbound URL. Payload mapping and endpoint requirements are checked in the build. This is not a native AWS connector.

  • IN

    Your warehouse or database

Readings and events from AWS IoT Core join through tables you sync to your warehouse or database. Postgres connects today; other databases need a sync you run or our REST API. Asset ids and timestamps link readings to operational records.

  • IN

    REST API

A bridge you run sends recorded readings or events from AWS IoT Core to our REST API. Device, asset and location ids are mapped in the build. This is an HTTP route, not a direct device or radio connection.

There is no native AWS IoT Core connector today; the routes above are how it joins. Connections are agreed in the build. We check the source data, consent and identifiers before promising a linked journey. AWS IoT Core is a trademark of its owner; this page implies no partnership or endorsement.

WHAT DATAGLUE DOES WITH IT

Describe the outcome. DataGlue works it out and shows you the formula.

  1. 01

Describe the outcome you want in plain words, such as "Sensor offline".

  2. 02

DataGlue works it out from the definitions of your data sources, AWS IoT Core included, and shows the formula in concise English.

  3. 03

Send it on: to reports, BI tools, any destination, or the AI tools your team already uses.

  • EXAMPLE OUTCOME 01

    Sensor offline

    THE FORMULA

No recorded heartbeat for a device within the interval you set.

  • EXAMPLE OUTCOME 02

    Temperature above limit

    THE FORMULA

A sequence of recorded readings exceeds your asset's temperature limit for the duration you set.

Tags about people come only from signals your systems already record, under your privacy policy and local law. Sensitive tags, such as gender or income estimates, are marked as estimates and can be switched off. Records link only where recorded identifiers support the match. People are never identified from faces.
